  • Delivery Options & Charges

    All of the below prices are per order. We don’t charge extra for orders with multiple items.

    UK:

    • Straps and bracelets: FREE (Royal Mail Tracked 24hr)
    • Standard delivery: FREE (DPD Predict Service)
    • Next day*: £10.00 (DPD Predict Service)

    DPD currently offers the best service available for your watch delivery.

    • Live one hour delivery windows
    • E-mail and SMS notifications
    • Live delivery vehicle tracking
    • ‘Deliver to Neighbour’ option

    We use either Royal Mail or DHL to deliver to areas not yet covered by DPD.

    International (excluding Canada and Russia):

    • Straps and bracelets: FREE (DHL Time Definite: Tracked & Signed For)
    • Standard delivery: FREE (DHL Time Definite: Tracked & Signed For)
    • Express (where available)*: £25.00 (DHL Time Definite: Tracked & Signed For)

    Canada and Russia:

    Owing to the limitations of alternative delivery routes within these regions, we have opted to partner with Royal Mail.

    From 1st January 2019, all international orders are subject to customs checks and therefore require us to assign accurate commodity codes to your order. The cost of import duty is payable by the customer. To understand more, please read the section of this Delivery & Returns page titled “Value-added tax and Import duties” or contact our Customer Service team who will be happy to help you.

    * Next Day and Express delivery is available for all orders placed before 1pm UK time, Monday to Friday. Orders placed on a Friday after 1pm will be processed the following Monday (excluding public holidays). Next Day and Express delivery is not available if you have requested engraving as part of your order.

  • Delivery Times

    As delivery times vary depending on where you are across the world we thought it would be helpful to show below the different timings by region:

    All delivery estimates are after despatch. Our customer promise is to despatch within 2 working days from order, unless the order has been held for a particular reason, e.g. engraving.

    * If your address is in a remote part of the United Kingdom e.g Highlands and Islands, then please add an extra day to the delivery times quoted.

    Please note that during periods of exceptional demand e.g Sales and Promotions, particularly when these coincide with UK public holidays, there may be some delay to the timings quoted. We endeavour to minimise these delays and keep customers informed where there are exceptional delays.

  • Where is my order?

    Once you have placed your order and received a confirmation email, we aim to ship within two working days, though during periods of exceptional demand and around the time of UK Bank Holidays this processing time can sometimes take slightly longer.

    When we despatch your order you will receive a shipping notification email with a courier tracking code.

    If it has been several working days since your order confirmation, or you didn’t receive one for an order you placed – please get in touch with our Customer Services Team.

  • How can I track my shipped order?

    When we despatch your order you will receive a shipping notification email with a courier tracking code which allows you to follow your delivery.

    Please note, some countries, the extent of tracking is far reduced. This is down to the local networks in specific countries e.g. Russia and Canada.

  • Value-added tax & Import duties

    For orders with shipping addresses outside of the EU, VAT will be removed from the final total payable.

    For orders shipped internationally, we will declare the pre-tax value of the package in GBP, and the recipient will be responsible for any duties and other charges which may be due, Please note that customs policies vary from country to country and so to be absolutely clear we recommend you contact your local customs office for further information.

    Please note international shipments may, from time to time, be subject to cross border inspections by customs authorities. ‘Express’ courier shipments are more likely to be examined by local authorities therefore increasing the chance of an additional charge.

    Countries which, to our knowledge, usually incur an additional charge when shipped by express courier are:

    • Russian Federation
    • Canada
    • Republic of China
    • Turkey
    • Malaysia
    • United Arab Emirates
    • Most Central and South American destinations.
  • Will you under-report the value of my international package?

    No, by law we are required to state the correct selling price of the item purchased. If we under-declare this value, and it is picked up by customs, both the sender and the recipient will be liable for fines.

  • Which countries do you deliver to?

    We deliver worldwide from the UK with the exception of the following countries:

    • Cuba
    • Iran
    • North Korea
    • Sudan
    • South Sudan
    • Syria
    • Crimea
    • Nigeria
    • Ukraine
  • BFPO (British Forces Post Office) shipping information

    We are able to ship to our customers serving in the British Forces and living at a BFPO address – just ensure you have the correct BFPO number and/or the appropriate postcode, where necessary. Although initially shipped via a Royal Mail service, please note that we are unable to provide any kind of tracking information for orders to BFPO addresses.

    Customers shipping to BFPO addresses are also entitled to have VAT removed from their order.

    If ordering over the phone with our Customer Services team, we can remove any VAT immediately. If you have placed an order online, please get in touch with Customer Services, where we can have the VAT refunded back to you.

Returns

  • To return a watch from within the UK

    If your watch is within the 60 days of despatch (see our 60|60 Guarantee) unworn, in perfect condition with all its original packaging and paperwork, you can return it to us free of charge via Royal Mail for a replacement or a full refund.

    To arrange a return from within the UK please click here, complete the form and we’ll send you a free returns pack and postage label by first class post.

    We will acknowledge receipt of your watch by email. All returned watches are thoroughly inspected by our technicians to ensure they meet the terms of the 60|60 Guarantee, (unworn, in perfect condition and with all its original packaging and paperwork) for a part or full refund. If further information is required, our Customer Services Team will contact you.

    Your return will be processed and funds refunded to your original payment method within approx. 7 working days from when we acknowledge receipt of your return.

    If you have waited longer than 7 working days or have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our Customer Service Team.

  • Return a watch – International Orders

    If your watch is within the 60 days of despatch (see our 60|60 Guarantee) unworn, in perfect condition with all its original packaging and paperwork, you can return it to us free of charge for a replacement or a full refund.

    Christopher Ward, in partnership with DHL, offer both in-store drop-offs as well as home collections to make returning a watch to us as convenient as possible for you. If DHL do not cover your area, we will help you arrange an alternative home collection from an alternative courier.

    We will acknowledge receipt of your watch by email.
