  • Description

Introducing the C60 Elite 1000 - a release that builds upon the successes of the C60 Trident Elite 1000, a limited edition model whose 300 pieces sold out in record time. And whilst it incorporates an array of new features, this new open series model will retail for the very same price as its predecessor.

As a professional-level dive watch water-resistant to 1000m, only the best possible materials have been used throughout - and its Grade 2 titanium case epitomises this. A material that boasts the highest strength-to-density ratio of any metallic element and renowned for both its lightweight and corrosion-resistant properties, it'll remain non-cumbersome when worn over neoprene; an in-built automatic helium release valve will also assist with equalization during the ascent from a dive. Significantly, the Elite 1000 also sees a Grade 2 titanium bracelet option introduced; not only does it feature our intuitive quick-release system for easy changing, but at just 133g it sets a record as the lightest titanium chronometer CW has produced combined with the default length bracelet.

Aesthetically, the Elite 1000 builds upon its forebear with inclusions such as a day date window at 3 o'clock on its glossy dial. Trident 3's redesigned handset and indexes are also present. These, along with the bezel, have been filled with Super-LumiNova® Grade X1 GL C1 - the best possible lume CW could use.
  • Movement

As you might expect from its name, this Trident is notable for the inclusion of a day date complication at 3 o'clock - functionality enabled by its Sellita SW220 movement. An automatic calibre with 38-hour power reserve and in-built shock system, each SW220 has also been certified by the Swiss organisation Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres; with a tolerance of just -4/+6 seconds per day, the Elite 1000 sits within the top 6% of all Swiss-made watches for accuracy.

But that's not all: marking the first time a Trident has featured an exhibition caseback - a feat achieved by a crystal 3.4mm-thick - the C60 Elite 1000 comes complete with our 'twin flags' engraved on its rotor. Who says you can't admire the engineering inside a dive watch?
