Like many of your customers, I have a collection of other ‘high-end’ Swiss watches with astronomical price tags but a friend told me about you so I did some research about what you’re doing and thought I’d try one – a C70 Ascari – and to say I am delighted is a massive understatement!! The service and the packaging put many other brands to shame but the quality of the watch - which, after all, is the most important thing – has blown me away! I wanted to drop you a line to express my thanks for the very quick and efficient service, and also to communicate just how impressed I am with my purchase. I am a keen watch enthusiast, currently owning a Rolex, Breitling and Bell & Ross. I have purchased and sold over 20 premium watches in the last ten years, all bought for my personal use, I was finally "switched off" to the major brands a year ago following the rapid increase of their pricing structures. A Breitling I paid £2500 for in the USA two years ago was now £5100 in the UK, the final straw was the release of the new generation Rolex Sea-Dweller, I paid £2450 for a new Sea-Dweller in 2004, so was very interested to hear of the new larger version. My local jeweller called when his first sample arrived, I went along to view, recognised that Rolex had set the price of this stainless steel watch at £5500,and promptly left the shop shaking my head and laughing to myself at the crazy increase of price. I first heard of your brand while reading Autocar a few weeks ago, liked the style, so looked at the website. I then read the press clippings and testimonials relating to the quality of the product, so decided to take a punt and buy one. The detailing is superb, I would class the quality of the clasp and leather strap on the same level as Tag Heuer, when opening the superb presentation box and removing the watch from its box, it felt as if I had just made a £1000 purchase. Your brand does "what it says on the tin", a high quality watch, at a truly bargain price. | C70US “I've been looking for a sports watch or aviator watch for some time. To me, I don't need the flash of some name-brand watch company that hires athletes and actors to show off their time pieces. To me, I focused purely on my own independent sense of style. In particular, I wanted a conservative look with a bit of an edge to it that made it stand out--in a good way. It's not an easy combination to acheive. Most watches tend to be stuffy and boring or so weird that they could not be worn by a respectable businessman. That's where Christopher Ward came in. In particular, I was drawn to both their sports watches and aviator watches. I was admittedly torn, but ultimately settled on the C70 Cunningham Stripe watch. It was unique and classy. And it looks even better in person. I've worn it with a suit and I've worn it with jeans and a nice shirt. The watch amazingly adapts to a formal or casual outfit. It is beautifully constructed and works flawlessly. The band is extremely comfortable and gives the watch sportier feel and look to it. I've received multiple unsolicited comments from people already--which has never happened with any watch I've owned. This baby stands out in a crowd for all the right reasons. But more important than what others think of it, the watch definitely is a masterpiece in my view. I'll be wearing this time piece for years to come.
