UK Review by Matt
Price Value Quality I've read these reviews for ages, then flipped back and poured over the photos and then read the reviews again, sound familiar? Recently I gave in and ordered the C60 on a rubber strap with black bezel. It came when it was promised and I was very impressed with the packaging - its top notch. £365, I was hoping for excellence and prepared for just about OK, how wrong was I.
The watch. Marvellous. It really took me a few moments to get my head around how good it was and it is better than portrayed by the photos for me.
Smaller than I thought, a flat crystal as opposed to convex and a very smooth second hand motion. The crown is sturdy, as ham fisted as I am I think it will be safe. The hands are unusual. I'm not struck too much on the hour hand but then It is very individual, nothing like any other brand so that is a good thing. The bezel is very good and will be a breeze to use in the water. The luminosity is fine, if I charge by a light for 30 -60 secs around 2300 it can be read at 0600 or so, not as bright as I thought but not bad at all. The watch face is very nice indeed. I don't think it is reminiscent of a Rolex or Planet Ocean, It is its own design, sure there are cues, all I know is after looking for at least 4 years for a new watch I have stumbled on a real beauty. One that will stand up to the rigours of an outdoor life.
Timekeeping I checked it today at plus 6 days and it seemed around 40 secs fast. I have since reset it and its running around 4/5 secs fast, I couldn't care much. I'm not going to be late but that seems pretty good to me. Reading other posts thats COSC levels.
The strap. It looks great on the silicon strap. I've got bracelet straps but a diver is better on a strap like this, its a diving watch after all but looks, well, breathtaking too be honest. I did have real difficulty getting it to fit and unfortunately cut it too short, I do have a smallish wrist around 7 1/4" and the pin spacing just didn't work for me too well , I gave some feedback and Wera sent me a replacement. That is service from years gone by, really very good indeed.
In summary, I cannot understand why people will pay thousands for a watch brand which in my opinion does the same thing, possibly not as well, certainly not as uniquely and no where near as inexpensive. Yes, I would like some luminosity on the second hand but that's all I can add Chris. I'm over the moon with it. (Posted on 18/11/2011) -
London 11/08/11 Review by Andrew Ellinas
Quality Price Value I bought a C60 a few weeks ago and it hasn't been off my wrist since it arrived. It's relegated my Omega and IWC to the safe. (Posted on 12/08/2011)

UK 28/5/2011 Review by ColinC
Quality Price Value I travel a lot on business and although I own a Rolex Sea-dweller I bought this one to wear as a more every day watch as I travel to some dodgy places. This is an excellent watch of very good quality, and a style I like as its based on the styling of the Rolex. I had someone ask me for the time the other day and they made a comment on how nice the watch was and asked if it was a Rolex - I think that confirms how good this watch looks and wears. Overall really pleased with it and would definetly recomment it. (Posted on 28/05/2011)

Somerset 7 April 2011 Review by Nigel
Quality Price Value Very pleased with my Trident Pro. It is a robust and handsome watch and I've enjoyed wearing it since it's long awaited arrival a month ago. My other watches are a Rolex and a CW Malvern Aviator Mk11. Would I change anything on the watch ? It could possibly be a bit smaller, and I'd have the date bigger for easier viewing. Chris, would you consider giving the next edition some colour contrast between the hands and hour points ? It can take me a moment to see where the white hands are. It's a fine watch.

Wiltshire 17/12/10 Review by Russell Gillespie
Price Value Quality Had a long wait for my watch to arrive due to cw having issues getting hold of the straps.
Felt a bit let down with lack of info on this issue from customer services and the fact i had to do all the chasing to find out when i'll be receiving my watch, a month and a half later it came.
I must say the wait was worth it and the quality is outstanding, a friend has a tag and a omega and it's better than the tag but on par with the omega.
I ended up ordering a metal bracelet a week later, so now i can get two different looks from the watch.
I will be getting another watch from cw soon. Think i'll be going for the c40 speedhawk next.

UK 11/2010 Review by Bob
Quality Price Value I've had this watch for a week now: apart from a small hiccup over delivery (which Deborah at CW was extremely helpful about) I have to say I am nothing but impressed so far. I've got various other 'quality' watches (Rolex/Omega/Breitling) and initial impressions of this baby are that is by no means a cheap relation of any of them. Packaging and presentation are superb and the initial feel (weight, finish, style) of this watch are extremely favourable. It's curently my 'everyday' watch so I'll monitor its durability and and retention of looks over the coming months and report back from time to time. Currently EXTREMELY impressed - AMAZING amount of watch for the money!!!! (Posted on 25/11/2010)

Price Value Quality From ordering, delivery and finally opening the packaging the service has been fantastic, this is my first purchase and the quality, feel and weight of this watch is 1st class. The actual watch is much better in the flesh than the pictures.
Already had lots of comments about this watch and recommend a number of people to invest
