Welcome to the latest up-to-the-minute news on Christopher Ward

The FT meets CW

The new C600 Tri-Tech™ Diver Elite featured heavily in the Financial Times’" Meet the Maker" series in which Chris was interviewed about the origins of the company as well as our flagship diver’s watch.

Chris said of the C600: “I’m a keen diver, and we launched our first dive watch three years ago. I wanted to offer a high end model – the kind of thing you’d pay £3,000 for."

"So, for the C600, we’ve introduced a helium release valve, which prevents the watch from exploding when you ascend, and used tritium gas technology instead of the usual luminous paint for a consistent neon glow ... It’s a great watch for working divers or - given our murky water - a good back up watch if you’re learning to dive in the UK.”

Jenson and the C70 Brooklands take pole

As Sport magazine has noticed, it is a happy coincidence that Jenson Button’s F1 triumph has coincided with the launch of our stunning C70 Grand Prix Series.

Demand has been as quick as his Brawn GP car down the straight at Silverstone for the C70GB Brooklands since his victory, but the Ferrari red C70IT Rosso Corsa and the C70US Cunningham Stripe are in the Brooklands slipstream.

With each model being limited to a worldwide distribution of only 500 pieces you will need to put your foot on the gas to secure yours!

W6 KINGFISHER SPLASH in The Independents TOP 50

Our new Kingfisher Splash made headlines last week when it was listed at #20 in The Independent’s Top 50 watches list. Of course, we have to commend The Indy for its excellent taste and judgement in choosing one of the coolest diver’s watches around, however, we can’t understand why another 20 CW designs didn’t make the list – but maybe we’re biased!
