The C7 Rapide is a contemporary evocation in horological form of the golden age of motor racing. This magnificent chronograph is our tribute to the "Gentlemen drivers" of the middle decades of the last century who, protected by little more than their overalls and silk covered helmets, drove their Bugatti's, Napier Railton's and Alfa Romeo's at breathtaking speeds around banked tracks with little regard for their own safety but with huge respect for each other. Its clean, unfussy and perfectly balanced lines combine with the powerfully precise ETA multi-function movement to evoke the "spirit of speed" which these brave men and their wonderful machines so sportingly embraced.
