Product Description

The news that Silverstone had extended its right to stage the British Formula 1 Grand Prix for a further 17 years prompted the petrol heads at Christopher Ward to lobby for a watch that celebrated this very welcome news. Little did we expect that Chris and the design team in Maidenhead would produce what many of us believe to be the finest design yet to emerge from those studios.

The design has a subtle retro feel (more Stirling Moss than Lewis Hamilton) and features a superbly crafted multi-layered precision dial incorporating the 45 hour power reserve meter which is the outward expression of the complex Valgranges ETA A07.161 Automatic movement. The power reserve movement has been specially customised by ETA for the C90.

Owning and wearing this magnificent timepiece may not quite match the excitement of taking one of Silverstone's famous corners in a Formula 1 car, then again ...

Just received my C90 and must say it is a stunning watch. Up there with the Top Marques. It just oozes quality and sits very nice on the wrist. The exhibition back really adds to the enjoyment of the watch. The face is very clear,uncluttered and precise. If there is a down side it is the fact you have to take it off sometime. 15/12/10 Review by Ray Westfield. Lincolnshire.
