High end! fair priceReview by nick
- This watch oozes quality, so much so, that I hope to keep it for life and look after it. This is my first 'decent' watch. Spending 2k+ for a Bell & Ross was quickly dismissed when I found out about these and read reviews by people who knew their high end watches/movements etc, and rated this brand. To me, buying a CW watch is like buying a classic sports car rather than an Audi. Bags more character!

Great looking watch at a great value! Have been looking over the B&R's and decided to go for the C11, my second CW. Good decision on my part. I get many compliments whenever I wear it. Most appreciate the aviation "look" with a more subtle and mature shape of the case.
Nicely done...keep on producing these high quality and good value time pieces! -

Well what can I say? This is a fantastic watch which exudes top notch design, materials and build quality. Out of the box and on the wrist I was very very impressed. The pictures are good, but do not show the true level of quality of the materials used and the precision of its manufacture. The date number is perfectly centred in its window, The luminous coating on the seconds hand lines up exactly to the end of the hour markers. The glass is so non reflective it looks like there is no glass at all. The surface finish of the steel case is flawless as is the black of the face. I own a couple of (old) Omegas, a Rolex GMT and a Bell and Ross. This watch is in every aspect up with the very best.
However some bad new and some good news. After a few months of accurate to 2 seconds a day functioning, the watch sped up alarmingly and then stopped entirely. I was concerned. However the customer service at Chris Ward turned out to be fantastic. They sent me a ‘next day delivery’ return kit and I duly returned the watch for repair. Although I was out of their ‘60’ day no quibble return policy (but in their 5 year repair guarantee) to my delight they sent me a brand new C11 MSL MK1 automatic by return. The watch is beautiful and functioning perfectly. Needless to say, I will not be wasting any more money on ‘big name’ brands when I can collect top notch yet affordable Chris Ward watches. Now I really fancy that C60 Trident GMT automatic with steel bracelet and ‘gold’ bevel for my birthday……
Any advice for Chris Ward? Yes. You could clean up in the market if you marketed your fantastic watches more widely. Although I have collected ‘big name’ watches for some time, I had not heard of this brand and only came across them accidentally due to an MSN ‘article’ on ‘affordable luxuries’. I hope you continue to thrive so that I can continue to collect your watches.
